Rosemary is a proud member of GoodWeave, the international nonprofit organization devoted to building schools, programs and opportunities that give children back their childhoods by ending child labor in the handmade carpet industry in South Asia. The Mirasol Project

Started in 2006, this organization — which supports local communities through the sale of the Mirasol Yarn Collection — aims to fight poverty and encourage regional development in Peru. The Project guarantees that Andean alpaca shepherds get a better trade for their yarn. Children are particularly protected, with a Mirasol Boarding House recently constructed that provides support for the children's physical, social and educational needs. Dulaan Project

Giving Back

In an effort to support the needs of her artisans, Rosemary is actively involved in many aspects of their lives – from sponsoring a soccer league in Peru to funding a coming-of-age party for one of her artisan’s daughters. Recently Rosemary brought her own family to Peru, where her sons got to meet, firsthand, the wonderful employees of her ever-expanding global community.
